Appointments
Appointments are encouraged. If you need immediate attention or have an emergency, please advise us when you call. We do our best to see you on time. Please notify us if you must cancel. If notice is not given, a charge may apply.
Fees and Payment
We are happy to bill all major Rhode Island insurance companies, given evidence of coverage. To ensure correct billing, you are required to present your insurance card at every visit. If we must bill you for a payment or co-payment at the time of your visit, a $15.00 fee will be added to the bill to cover costs. You are responsible for services that are not covered by your insurance company. Feel free to use your Mastercard or Visa credit cards.

Tuesday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Prescription refills
Please request refills at your visit or call your pharmacist who will fax a request to us. Please allow 48 hours for refills. We are unable to refill your prescription when the office is closed.
Referral Authorizations
If we have not seen you for your current problem, you may need to make an appointment to see the provider before the referral will be given. Otherwise, you can leave a message on our voice mail.
Test Results
Our policy is to notify our patients of your test results within 2 weeks by letter or call you if the results require a more immediate response.
After Hours Emergencies
If you need to contact your physician after hours, call the regular office number. Our answering service will forward your message to your physician or to the physician on call, who will call you back promptly.
Hospitals
The doctors have staff priviledges at Roger Williams Medical Center, Kent County Memorial Hospital and the Miriam Hospital. Should the need arise that a hospital admission is required at any of these hospitals or at Rhode Island Hospital, your daily care will be attended by the hospital's inpatient medical services. The doctors at the hospital, known as a "Hospitalist" will be available at all times and will communicate regularly with your doctor. This arrangement allows our patients to receive timely care while in the hospital and allows your doctor more time to see you in the office.
