SAME DAY SICK VISITS
We are able to accommodate our patients with same day sick appointments. We ask you to call as early as you can. Seeing your primary care provider who knows you best rather than going to an emergency room provides better medical care to you and is also cost effective.
WELL VISITS
We encourage preventative medicine, so please keep your follow-up visits and well visit appointments. Your provider will discuss with you strategies on how to live healthy.
DISEASE MANAGEMENT
As your primary care providers, we will manage your chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Asthma, Depression, High Cholesterol, etc. We will coordinate your care with specialists when needed. Our providers have been awarded for the most improved Diabetic Patient Care from the Rhode Island Chronic Care Collaborative. We strive to have patients receive the highest level of care.
FAA PHYSICALS
Dr. Kerzer is a Senior Aviation Examiner performing class 1, 2, and 3 exams. Jamie Handy is the Medical Assistant for Flight Physicals. See our FAA Exams page for more information.
AUTO ACCIDENTS/WORK COMP
We are able to treat injuries sustained in accidents. We will communicate with your attorney and keep he/she updated with your medical reports. We also have a Physical Therapist on site to help with your rehabilitation. We will treat established patients who have been injured at work; however, certain information is required before we may treat you.
MINOR EMERGENCIES
Minor suturing, wound management, as well as other minor procedures are offered at APCM. Dr. Gregory Steinmetz has experience in Urgent Care Medicine. The providers also perform in office testing such as, EKG’s, pulmonary function tests, as well as other diagnostic tests.
PEDIATRIC CARE
As a family practice, the providers have undergone an intense and broad training to develop competency in pediatric care.
WOMEN'S HEALTH
Our providers perform gynecological exams, breast exams, etc. Julie Rousseau, FNP-C sees many of our female patients for their yearly exams.
PHYSICALS
DOT physicals, school physicals, work and or sports physicals are performed at APCM. Please bring in the appropriate paperwork at the time of your appointment for your provider to complete.
