Dr. Martin Kerzer Retirement

The team would like to thank Dr. Martin Kerzer on his recent retirement after more than 40 years of outstanding clinical practice. He will be missed by staff and patients alike. We also want to congratulate him on his new appointment as Medical Director of the CharterCARE Provider Group of RI, a 500-member independent physician association.
 
Congratulations to Dr. Steinmetz who was awarded the degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Practice (FAAFP).  This designation recognizes physician who gave distinguished themselves among their colleagues by their service to family medicine, by their advancement of health care to their communities, and by their professional development through medical education and research. Fellows of the AAFP are recognized as champions of family medicine.
 
We are pleased to welcome Riley Nascimento and Jessica Hitte, Certified Physician Assistants, PA-C, to the practice. Riley completed her masters at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences University. She previously served as a CNA at Clifton Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Somerset. A graduate of URI, Jessica completed her masters at Johnson & Wales University and has served as a CNA at St. Elizabeth’s Home in East Greenwich and as a medical assistant at South County Internal Medicine.
